Cooking Instructions

Bison meat should not be cooked the same as pork or beef.


     We cook it in a Crock Pot from Frozen on the lowest setting for about 10 hours.  Add some onion rings on the bottom with about 1/2 cup - 3/4 of water, depending on the size. 


    Thaw the steaks.  Place on a hot skillet, low temperature for about 3 - 5 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the steak.
